Mariela has more than 15 years of experience with dance. Was a soloist dancer at Cia Estável Dance Company in Brazil were she worked for 7 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education & professor, choreographer and professional dancer certified by the Dance Union of Brazil (DRT). She is a facilitator in several modalities of dance. In addition to Brazil, it accumulates professional experiences in Europe: Associate Teacher and Choreographer in projects with DYDC (Dublin Youth Dance Company) Where was also interviewed by newspapers such as “THE IRISH TIMES” and “IRISH DAILY MAIL”.
Mariela has participated in several international dance courses, such as Quorum Balé in Portugal and São Paulo Dance Company, where she was also invited to an internship at SJC’s young Dance company. She has several works in her curriculum & many choreographies for dance schools, dance companies and musicals. Accumulating more than 300,000 views in her choreographies on Youtube among many others.
For Mariela, “Dancing is drawing with the body the poem that dwells in the soul”.
Currently a classical Ballet teacher at Gaiel Scoil, Jazz Dance teacher at Stage School, Jazz and contemporary Dance teacher at Mckinley School Dance and Teacher associate for: Taaffe Training, Westside Performance Arts, Kidcast and Five Lamps Art. She has been a judge in dance competitions like “5,6,7,8 Elite Dance” and “Dance Empire”.
