Cruinniú na nÓg

DYDC is delighted to announce we will be once again taking part in Cruinniú na nÓg on the 7th June at

the Samuel Beckett Civic Campus, Ballyogan, Dublin 18 to celebrate the opening of the new dlr library taking place from 12-5.30pm.

 

​DYDC will be performing throughout the day between 1-5pm. 

 

We will also be hosting 20 minute dance workshops for children in the Ballyogan Library taught by DYDC Senior member and dancer Louise Behan. These workshops will be a great introduction for children to participate in creative dance within a fun and relaxed setting. 

​

There will be 4 workshops on the day and they will be offered on a first come first served basis

 at 12pm & 1pm (5-8yrs), 2pm & 3 pm (9-12yrs)

​

As part of the event, DYDC will also be delivering a 6 week dance programme with local school Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua, for 5th & 6th class students with DYDC Associate teacher/choreographer Mariela Mira. 

The process will be documented and a short film will be shown as part of the event throughout the day in Ballyogan Library.
