Anderson De Souza

Born in Brazil, Anderson began his dance training at age 14, he has worked in Brazil professionally since 2008, and he has performed and taught in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Spain and Croatia.
 
Anderson is experienced in teaching students of all ages and abilities. He is versatile and skilled in a variety of dance idioms and as a teacher, performer and choreographer Anderson has achieved high-level dance training in Contemporary techniques.
 

He has participated in many high-profile dance events National and International to date including:

 

  • Joinville International Dance Festival - Brazil ( 1999 until 2006);
 
  • Dance Teacher by Pullmantur Cruises - Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Croatia (2011 to 2012);
 
  • Internationales Solo Tanz Theater Festival - Stuttgart / Germany (2012)
 
  • Akademie Schloss Solitude - Stuttgart / Germany, guest performer to the project Distante Dialogue (2012)
 
  • Irish Youth Dance Festival –  guest professional dancer / choreographer (2013)
 
Anderson choreographed  and danced his first piece for the IYDF 2013 entitled - Tangueto.
 
Inspired by Tango Milongas songs, the solo was created based on memories, distance, longing and rediscovering, recalling something inside that makes you remember someone, somewhere, people and places that are far from you.
