Adrián Herrera is a Spanish dancer, choreographer, and multidisciplinary artist from Mérida. He holds a Higher Degree in Physical and Sports Activities (CDS Badajoz) and is a certified Specialist Technician in Marine Fauna and Ecology.

His artistic journey began in 2002 with the folklore group Nuestra Señora de la Antigua in Mérida. By 2010, he had turned to breakdance, competing and judging at national and international events. In 2017, Herrera expanded into contemporary dance under the mentorship of Alba Gog, collaborating on works such as Talara, Electra, The Bacchae, Medusa, and Minotaur.

He has trained with renowned artists including Lucio Baglivo, Elias Aguirre, Marion Casteillet, and Chey Jurado, and received a Descalzinha Danza scholarship in 2020–21. His choreographic works—Memento, Anémona, DÀNSÂI, and Lejio—have been showcased internationally, earning multiple awards such as Best Interpretation at Claqueta Emérita 2020 and First Prizes in Contemporary and Urban Dance at the National Contest of Calamonte.

Herrera’s style fuses contemporary and urban dance with biomechanical and marine-inspired movement research. Beyond performance, he teaches workshops across Spain, Colombia, and Portugal, and contributes to theatre production, sound, and stage design. He continues to develop innovative, cross-disciplinary projects that explore the relationship between movement, texture, and the natural world.
