Dublin Youth Dance Company and Artistic Director Mariam Ribón are happy to announce the
Irish Youth Dance Festival 2022.
This year the festival will be held over two days at the Civic Theatre in Tallaght presenting 2 different programmes on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of July at 8pm.
The IYDF is one of the most exiting youth dance events in Ireland. The Festival has been running for 21 years offering a professional platform for young dancers and choreographers, both nationally and internationally.
DYDC is calling for submissions from Irish based youth dance companies, Irish Dancers studying abroad, young artists and choreographers.
We are looking for high quality, fresh, edgy, creative, original and current pieces in a variety of dance styles.
The maximum length of the choreography must not exceed 10 minutes for a group piece and 4 minutes for solo work.

Dublin Youth Dance Company (DYDC) is currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, hardworking and ambitious Associate Festival Producer for its annual flagship Irish Youth Dance Festival (IYDF).
The Associate Festival Producer will work closely with DYDC/IYDF’s Artistic Director, Mariam Ribón, to plan, produce and deliver the festival which takes place on July 2nd and 3rd 2022 at the Civic Theatre, Dublin.
This is a fixed term contract from May – July 2022.
Reporting to DYDC’s Artistic Director, the Associate Festival Producer will take lead responsibility for producing the festival programme, including budgeting, line-producing, contracting, venue sourcing and management, production/technical liaison, and engaging venue managers and staff.
