New Dance Work
Dublin Youth Dance Company is commissioning an Irish based choreographer to devise an original dance work as part of our Senior Autumn Dance Residency, with members of the Senior Ensemble (aged 16-25) to be performed at the IYDF Winter Gala on 25th November 2023 at Smock Alley Theatre, Boys School (2 performances).Rehearsals will take place from Tuesday 31st October – Saturday 4th November at Dance House & Sunday 5th November at Dance Theatre of Ireland, 10am-5.30pm.

The piece must be between 10-12 minutes in duration.

The Senior Autumn Dance Residency prioritises the voice and choice of our members, allowing them to select who they would like to work with.
​
As part of this commission, the selected choreographer will teach a daily technical dance class/warmup.
The day should include 2 small breaks and a lunch break of approx. 45mins.
The choreographer must be available for tech rehearsal on the morning of Saturday 25th November.
