Rosie Stebbing is a contemporary dance artist from Kildare. After studying at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (UK) on their foundation course, she moved to the Netherlands to train at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, graduating with a BA(Hons) in Dance in 2021. During the final year of her studies she undertook an internship with Holstebro Dansekompagni (DK), performing in works by Jacob Stage and Sargun Oshana.

She also participated in Dance Limerick's Step Up programme, working with choreographers David Bolger and Lucyna Zwolinska on the creation and tour of two new works. Since graduating she has worked as a dancer with CoisCéim Dance Theatre on two award winning productions, and is currently a performer in Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Theatre’s latest show, When The Moon Spun Round.

Her choreographic debut, TEST 1, premiered at the Dublin Fringe Festival in September 2022. She was nominated for Best Performer at the Fringe Festival Awards, and the work received the Judge’s Choice Award. In spring 2023 she was selected for a residency at Dance Ireland, during which she collaborated with visual artist Aisling Phelan on a period of research and development. She has most recently been awarded the HATCH Mentorship Award from Dance Ireland.
