Discovery Dance Programme
Monday 27th - Thursday 30th June

As part of the IYDF 2022, in collaboration with Dance Ireland, DYDC is offering an intensive 4 day programme for enthusiastic young dancers looking to develop their skills and technique in dance. The Discovery programme will be taught by an international selection of dance artists, including Justine Cooper (New Zealand), Anderson de Souza (Brazil), Lucia Kickham (Ireland), Dharmesh Patel (UK), Inma Pavón (Spain), Mariam Ribón (Spain) & Roberto Seller (Portugal).

The programme consists of 10 classes (max capacity 30 dancers in each class) for each level:

Level 1- 12 to 15yrs

Level 2 - 15 to 20yrs

Fee:

€15 per class

or 

€120 for all 10 classes

Senior International Dance Residency

As part of the IYDF 2022, in collaboration with Dance Ireland, DYDC is offering an International Dance Residency with choreographer Juan Maria Seller from the Conservatory of Music Santarém, Portugal. Throughout the residency, Mr. Seller will devise a dance piece to be performed at the IYDF on Saturday 3rd July at the Civic Theatre, Tallaght.

 

We are looking for accomplished young dancers aged between 16-23yrs to work alongside DYDC Senior company members and dancers from Mr. Seller’s group.

Applicants must submit a short dance video with their application and be available to rehearse & perform at the Irish Youth Dance Festival on Saturday 2nd July. 

Fee: €150

*closing date for applications is Friday 17th June.
